A Discussion of Pharmaceuticals in Addiction Recovery: Helpful or Hurtful? – Through an open discussion about prescription medication use in recovery, we will consider medications that can inadvertently lead to relapses and what medications that may actually help to reduce relapse rates. We will also discuss medications associated with opiate maintenance. Presented by Dr. Daniel Boone, Medical Director, La Hacienda Treatment Center and our staff psychiatrist Dr. David Hagar.
