How Do I Ask My Doctor for More Medicine?

Question by stillcole: How do I ask my doctor for more medicine?
I take Adderall xr for ADD and I have been for almost 2 yrs now. I am perscribed the 10mg and to really get any effect I have to take 2 (20mgs). I want to ask my doctor for more but because its so common that this drug is abused I don’t know if she will increase my percription to 20 mg pills. How should I ask her?

just tell her that the 10mg arent cutting it, they dont make u feel any better
