My Future Wife’s Issue, Can You Help?

Question by Elegy Of Dirge: My future wife’s issue, can you help?
My future wife whom I love more than the world is very loyal and determined to our relationship. We plan to get married and of course have children, however though, she has epilepsy. We both really want children someday and I was wondering how I could best react to this.
She takes Keppra and has near major seizures which aren’t as bad as her childhood seizures but enough to make her sick. She was worried that she wouldn’t be healthy enough to take the pregnancy’s delivery but then we decided on other options like a surrogate mother and/or c-section process. But what I’m more concerned is through the pregnancy, when she’s supposedly off the medication since she tells me it could cause birth defects to the child. But with it off, it would cause high risks for her to get hurt and I can’t have that. What do you think? What should I do, what should we do? Should she continue her pills, or risk it? Is it safe? I really don’t want to lose one over the other, I need them all..I love them!!

she could wear a helmet and just play it safe for the 9.5 months… I know it sounds weird but lots of epilepsy patients wear helmets…
