I am going to take a job down there and every body i talk too says its “bad” down there. The crime rate is real high and its not a good place for a family. Whats the deal? I have lived in Miami and Minneapolis. And there not that bad. Why is new orleans so diffrent?

NEW ORLEANS IS AWSOME TO VISIT BUT NOT TO LIVE MOST PPL WHO WORK THERE LIVE IN NEAR BY PLACES SUCH AS LAPLACE GRENTA EVEN GONZALES OR BATON ROUGE SPEICALLY IF THEY GOT FLYS THE SCHOOL S THERE ARE NOT GOOD AND ITS NOT SAFE AT NIGHT I LIVE ABOUT 45MINTS AWAY AND MY HUSBAND WORKS IN NARCO WITCH IS ALSO CLOSE TO N O IVE LIVED HERE FOR50 YRS ALL MY LIFE THERE ARE GREAT JOBS BUT FIND A HOME NEAR BY IN A SUROUNDING CITY MAYBE SLIDELL OR CONVENTING GOGGLE THES PLACES ! THEY ARE ALL PRETTY NICE AND REMEMBER WE HAVE PARISHES NOT COUNEYS
